Adriana was able to learn so much form her teacher Ms. Sheppard and from her piano teacher Mr. A, they both challenged her and did not give up on her no matter how hard she was to deal with. Also she was able to get over all the book reports and projects.
 
Brandon got 1st place in his science project and almost straight A's in 3rd grade.
 
Camila learned to multiply and also learned the frog swimming stroke.
 
Camille made the Math Olympics Team and got a "Superior" at district's. Won 1st place in school's Speech Meet Competition and earned a "Superior" at district's. Got 1st place in her class for the Young Authors & Illustrators Competition and earned a 2nd place at district's.
 
Chloe participated in the Heather Stolle School of Dance tap dance production of "Hot Wing" and completed a successful year of piano competitions: selected as Judges Choice at the Tuesday Musical Club competition; 1st place in the Petroff State Competition; Judge's Choice with the SAMTA Achievement Auditions; 2nd place in the DeBoise National Competition; Outstanding Performer at the McLennan College; and achieved Top-Talent Circle Rating in the National Piano Playing Auditions.
 
Claire learned about ancient Egypt and how to play softball.
 
David was 8th in the State of Texas and 149th in the nation for his age's Mile Swim Competition. He also completed geometry.
 
Elle played at Tuesday Musical Club luncheon with Seva Joshi on the violin, they played Minuet in G by Bach. She won at the SOLI Competition and was honored to play with the SOLI Chamber Ensemble at Gallery Nord. Elle is preparing to go to piano camp at Beaver Creek in Colorado in June. She is a huge reader, practices Aikido and continues to work on her mandarin. She enjoys riding her bike and her favorite subjects at school are math and science.
 
Emily learned about Egypt, played basketball and softball.
 
Ikaika learned how to tie his shoes and learned how to take care of his new dog.
 
Jared earned Superior+ on the Achievement Audition and 100% on Theory Test. Got straight A's his last quarter of school.
 
Joshua went snowboarding in Colorado and went down a black run. He also got first chair in his saxophone class at school.
 
Julieta made her school's choir and volleyball team. Her volleyball team won 1st place in the district. She completed the 5th grade with straight A's and she's looking forward to starting middle school in the fall.
 
Kay Lynn has been swimming on "The Wave" year-round swim team for 3 years now. She also continued playing violin.
 
Kayuki finished her gymnastic season with great memories and a lot of medals. She competed at South State Championships, New Orleans, etc., Her most memorable accomplishment was to place 1st all around with a score of 39 out of 40 points at Alamo Classic Gymnastic Tournament in January.
 
Luke played soccer and when it was his turn to be goalie, he was so good that they chose him for the goalie at the championship game. His team won 5/1 + 5/1. He hopes to play soccer again next year.
 
Manuel went to Colorado last Summer and learned a little bit of recorder.
 
Michael shot a 50 straight in skeet shooting and got top shooter at a shooting event.
 
Mikel raised 14 monarch butterflies from larva to adulthood, and tagged 4 before releasing them. He also taught himself one of the poems in the Lord of the Rings: "Fellowship of the Ring" which he will sing today. His attire reflects Frodo Baggins, a hobbit of the Shire in the Third Age.
 
Moriah went on a mission trip to Houston for a week with other middle scholars from her church. It was an opportunity to serve people in need. She will do something similar this summer, but this time in Mobile, Alabama.
 
Nancy passed the STAAR test and will be moving on to 5th grade. Her school science show was a great success.
 
Nikolas progressed a lot in piano from little songs up to song number #13 in Suzuki Bk 1 which is Chant Arabe.
 
Paola went to Washington D.C. for the National Bible Experience Competition and her team won a 1st place. She also went to Outdoor School at Camp Hoblitzelle for a week of fun activities and met students from other schools in Texas.
 
Rodney returned to Taekwondo and is a green belt/black strip. Completed 3rd grade with perfect attendance.
 
Sofia went skiing to Keystone for the first time and she also saved 3 baby birds.
 
Walter played soccer for the second year with the "Green Ninjas" team. He learned to swim and got a "Best Reader" award in kindergarten.
